[pyrnet] RE: CHAT
You guys are scaring me!! :).
We're in the process of
acquiring our second rescue
Pyr (are we CRAZY??), and I
guess we've been incredibly
lucky. Gus has never gotten
into anything (garbage, food
on the counter, books-
Anything). He will, however,
much on the occasional fresh
horse manure. Thank goodness
he isn't a licker. I think
the fact that he has so much
to occupy his time and energy,
that when he final comes into
the house at night, the things
that are there seem awfully
boring to him. His one fault
(if it is one) is that he
loves to "play" with the ducks
and chickens (much to their
dismay). He thinks its a game
to chase them around the yard.
It's really quite funny- I
know he's not really trying to
catch them. The rooster will
taunt him, it's hilarious to
see Gus and Little Jerry (our
rooster) playing together.
Jerry actually gets jealous
when my husband and Gus play;
he's right there trying to get
into the ruckus. So, our
livestock guard dog is really
a livestock chaser dog. Gus
is a joy, rescue is the way to
go!!
