[pyrnet] Coyotes, pyrs, and mules

If you can't find a few adult Pyr's that someone could lend you then do you
have a mule or llama?....if not, do you know anyone with a mule or llama?
Mules are especially good at keeping coyotes away. If they see a coyote they
will chase it --and if they can catch it they would probably kill it by
slashing with the front hooves. They are not really protecting the herd but
rather protecting themselves but they do work pretty well.

I see that the sheep experiment station up here near DuBois Idaho is using
Llamas to guard the sheep (they also are using Pyr's in other areas...saw two
the other day with a border collie to boot). Now these sheep flocks are
alone...I mean open range
with nothing around for miles sometime.

Good Luck!

Have you thought of contacting varmint hunters or trappers?
