My experience has been that they generally blow coat around their
birthday. By is a December pup and blows his coat anywhere from
September to December, depending on how hot the summer has been.
Chel is a September pup and blows anywhere from June through
September. Molly was a June pup and blew coat anywhere from March
through June, unless she was bred. The intact bitches blow twice
a year at about 8 weeks after coming out of season. (usually
right after you've sent in a TON of entries to dog shows <G>) But
I know your Sophie is spayed, so one BIG coat blow a year should
do it, with LOTS of shedding inbetween.
