Re: [pyrnet] Thoughts...
Tea, as much as I love you, you are a typical American.
You apparently believe all that far-left piddle by Kennedy and the
Flower Children, and taught as fact in our schools from kindergarten
through college. It is Doctor Spockism, which he himself recanted
before his death.
Does it make sense to talk love and peace to a bunch of ignoramuses
holding guns to your head? That is the realistic view. The
dreamy,(sometimes pot induced) belief is that if we just loved the
terrorists enough they would behave. The Bible tells us to pray for
our enemies, not go over and cook dinner for them.
The most cogent words spoken by a politician in this century came
not from Winston Church (though he is a close second) but by Barry
Goldwater in 1964: "If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck,
it is probably a duck."
These are ducks. They kill, maim, rape, shoot, blow-up,
commit hari-kari against buildings with 20,000 people in them. I am
not saying wage a war on civilian. Wage war on the government of
Afghanistan or wherever the CIA
says these people are from. The governments in all these countries
have been shown beyond doubt to be involved in exporting terrorism.
It is war. And we should fight to win.
I do not approve of jumping into battle with everyone we
disagree with. But when Americans are murdered, it has already
passed that stage. The apologists for the Nazis
kept it up until the fall of Nazism. It is time to quit making
excuses for these murderers, and give them their due.
We have been documenting the people and the crimes of the
terrorists for more than 20 years, and when we catch one, the old
liberal gibberish about them being
poor, or uneducated or whatever gets them off. If our officials had
not been rattle-headed, they would know in a fraction of that time
that it simple does not work that way.
The CIA, the FBI and the National Security Agency
have all the information anyone could ask. We could try them, but the
little tinpot countries wouldn't give them up, and for good reasons:
they were involved in the terrorism, too. Especially Iraq, Iran.
Libya and a half dozen
freaky countries in North Africa and in Afghanistan.
I cannot agree with you. If Americans adopt your view we are
inviting more and more terrorism. It is time for it to stop.
This country's sense of morality and justice has slipped so far that
the last three traitors to the country are sitting in country club
jails filing lawsuits at the taxpayers expense.
Our country has always had one punishment only for traitors.. a short
stay before a firing squad. But no, we
want to pretend to be more humane than anyone else, and
give them a bonus, because it makes US feel good. It accomplishes
nothing with terrorists and traitors.
What happened at the WTC was more heinous than everything that
started all the wars in man's history.
The liberal loonies have been saying for most of 70 years that you can
reclaim criminals, yet no one ever has. Sometimes the criminals decide
to reclaim themselves.
That works.
The list of crimes by these groups, tied to the governments of the
countries where they hide out, cries out for retribution swift, sure
and complete. Level Afghanistan, level Iraq, level Iran and you will
do more to bring them into the 2lst century than all the governmental
welfare and Colin Powell-platitudes ever devised.
The devastation must be 20 times greater than what they did at the
\WT|C. to leave a benchmark for future
terrorists to consider before ever again attempted anything like the
WTC.
Then and only then, can we go back to sending mothers and fathers
and brothers and sisters out to work and earn a living, and expect
them home for dinner.
Tea, I have told you exactly what I think. But there is one thing
more.... ((((()))))). Let's talk tomorrow.
