Nancy is right. Wisconsin is considered a great test market state. (I
speak as a native born Wisconsinite.) It is consider to be quite
conservative as a market and the theory seems to be that if sells there it
should do well other places. Know this was true 10 or so years ago.
Also a bit of trivia.........Wisconsin tends to sell more clothing in Large,
and Extra Large than other markets. Now the question is: Is it due to the
tendency to layer clothing to avoid hypothermia? Is it all the Teutonic
heritage? Or is the butter, cheese, bratwurst, summer sausage, kringles,
custard............have to stop the hunger and homesickness are overwhelming
me.
