What's also interesting is that surveys of people report greater
satisfaction with their dogs behavior and personality from people who own
early s/n as opposed to later s/n or intact animals.  Of course, that may
mean nothing substantial.  It may be the expectation of the owners as much
as the actual behavior of the dog.  It does seem clear, as Barb points out
that delaying altering has no effect upon the character or maturity of the
animal.
