I guess we're lucky. We fenced 10+ acres and have no problems. Gus has never gone through the perimeter fence. Months later, we put the invisible fence around our pond (for various reasons). Right after the fence was installed around the pond, Gus went into the pond once while chasing a duck. He definitely respects the boundaries. But, every dog is different. I hope we're as lucky when the next Pyr comes along.
