Denise & Jerry,
It is nice to hear from you...I am glad you made a check in. How is he doing in Quarantine? Have they told you anything? How is the boy? Never did find out what the mother/ boy wanted, but that is prob being to nosey I did ask for a pic of Angus, but got no reply. I am at a loss as how to help you with Angus from my experiences. From what I have seen you have done all the right things...right down to taking food out of Angus's mouth, but as it was said to me once before ...you never know what might trigger the mode again that made the animal bite the human. Even though my bite experience happened when I was young ...I can still remember the incident, and how my mother screamed when she saw me( my teeth where showing through my cheek, and flaps of skin were dangling on my neck) Blood was everywhere! It hurt so badly when they put the stitches in, and I got no anaesthetic due to the placement of the bite on my face ...they didn't what the muscle to droop. Luckily, I haven't had to have any plastic surgery. The dog that bit me was euthanized. By request of my family, and the owners complied. I had nightmares for weeks, the reoccurring, gristle, ripping sounds were the worst. After I was told that the dog had been put to sleep...I was very sad, but I felt that my family loved me, and gained strength from that. I sympathize with your situation, but if any dog were to bite my child, or any child I would have it euthanized. I sympathize with you, and I know this whole situation has been hard on all involved. I hope Angus doesn't let you down again. Mer, and the lost boys |
