Re: [pyrnet] Allergies... Blowing her coat?

It certainly sounds like Luna's problem is the food. We had a dog that spent a
lot of time scratching until a friend told us that one of the pup's relatives
was allergic to corn. We immediately switched to a chicken and rice formula (be
carefull...several lamb & rice foods have corn in them). The pups stopped
scratching within a week. Since then I have heard of a number of dogs that are
allergic to corn.

I've hear of Pyrs shedding at any time of the year...house dogs tend to shed
when the heat comes on. My dogs shed as soon as I have sent in the entries for
a dog show.
