Our guys have the same type of response -- it's like they're saying "You
threw it, YOU go pick it up!" They will do the "bounce and twist shuffle".
You know, where the hind end goes up in the air, and front goes down, and
they wiggle all over, and then RUN all through the house. But play with a
toy, nah. They do like chewing on cow hooves, and my living room is
covered by ones they have been working on and then discarded for another
one. When they're working on one, they play a game of "take away". For
example, Baron and Zoe may be chewing on a hooves. If Baron seems to get
distracted, Zoe will come up and take his. There's no fighting over this
-- he simply goes over and picks up the one she was working on and begins
chewing on it instead.
