I am not quite sure if this is directed at me, but I seem to be the only
possible target so I will respond.  I did not offer to reimburse you.  I did
ask if you had contacted the club because we do have funds for that sort of
thing.  I find your response very strange.  I did not ask you to release
Gil.  I didn't ask for anything, just offered the club's resources.  In part
so that people understand that PyrAngel may have been the only one to offer
to reimburse you but also you had not contacted any other possible sources.
And finally, I do hope that you know that it is reasonably poor netiquette
to post a private response to a public list.  And, possibly subjectively, it
is especially problematical when that post is directed at or against a list
member.
