single minded. I find most of these distinctions in the companions and show
dogs that I breed also. The males are more aggressive with other dogs but
they are more touch-feely with their owners. I LOVE the bitches and their
"I'm the best and you can share that with me" attitude.

Just a comment here--I've heard that about the bitches also--In fact, I have
heard that many people prefer bitches over dogs as LGD s--
on another note--I also read somewhere:(don't ask, I can't remember!), that
Pyrs. are very discriminating about who/what they are gonna' guard ! ie:
the Pyrs, if raised with dark colored stock, and light colored stock was
introduced into the original "fold"--the Pyr. would seperate , and "run off"
the light colored stock as they were intruders into what He/She knew as
His/Hers!!!!
Did I remember this correctly ? Do you have any input on this ?
