No.  This is outside the charge or the pervue of the GPCA which is a club
organized to promote and protect the interests of Great Pyrenees.  It will
and does become involved (as in the recently discussed case) when Pyrs are
involved.

There are many, many organizations that work for animal cruelty legislation
and animal welfare (rights).  I only issue a caution that many of these
groups, however well intentioned they seem, are in the end proposing and
promoting positions that would end the ownership of pets and/or result in
eliminating the small and careful breeder.

So, caveat emptor .... so to speak.
