[pyrnet] Rescue Angels, was Vote on starved Pyrs
Joe,
I had an odd thing happen this week. Someone contacted me looking for
information on the Worlds Funniest Animals. She had picked by name
off of the Pyr List in which "Animal Planet" was mentioned. Apparently
one of these web-crawlers put us together, so in view of privacy
for my friend, I will not post her last name to the list, but if you would like
to know it, please email me privately.
Michelle has been a true and unwavering friend to the breed. In fact
the first two Pyrs she had were mine, the rest were rescues. I hope
someday to be able to honor her, either by having a medal struck, or
some "prize" that can be given to others who have worked as
tirelessly as she has and it is given in her honor. My first thought
goes to sponsoring an award through the GPCofA, with them
selecting the honoree. But Michelle was never a member of any
dog club. She just took responsibility for the large white dogs
that periodically passed through her area.
Any ideas on this would be welcome.
Kind regards,
Carol Brescher Boyle
