Let him watch The Never Ending Story and see if he wants to name him Falkor. That is the name of the Luck Dragon in the movie and I think this breed was the model for Falkor.  When they lie down they look so much like him.  It's just too weird!

Funny! I can see the resemblance too. Never thought of it until you mentioned it. The kids have watch that movie a lot, and Falkor was always our favorite character. Humm, wonder just how suggestible we are...lol
