Re: [pyrnet] Re: Sandra /pyrnet-l-digest.20010604
Sandra, I have five Pyrs. in the house, and yes they do bark. They bark
more than I would like, but it is in the nature of the breed , although
some are better than others about this, and I have found the more Pyrs.
the more barking. At least in the house I can easily shush them. I
absolutely hate the neighbors dogs outside barking all night and find
them to be more annoying than mine going off and me having to tell them
to be quiet. And yes, we live in the country, on 34 acres, and dog
barking is still an aggravation. The gal who has the litter mate to four
of our five, and runs a P.B. Pig rescue, says that Ida patrols the fences
against the coyotes, and the barking can get excessive, if it is a bad
coyote night. I think it is all in what you get used to! :-) Cindy
