>I have two pyr and can`t imagine them in the house{:> I have a farm and sheep goats etc. and these dogs bark all night long do they not do this is the house? They also hate cats, the pyr I had before these two was the best pyr int the world I had a rabbit to get out he went over and sniffed it and walked away but these two will kill my rabbits or a cat if they could catch them. Thanks >Sandra . Zeus the odd time will bark in the house, seemingly at nothing. But after we go to bed (he's in our room) never a peep.If your dogs are kept outside all the time, at night there are many sounds to get them going, and keep them going all night. Maybe you should try and bring them in, only at night. You'd at least get some sleep. Of course if there guarding sheep, and preditors are a problem, that may be impossible. As for cats, when my daughter got a kitten for christmas he did try very hard to get it, with intent. But he learned very quickly that this was unexceptable behaviour. He still does not like the cat, but ignores it, he knows he's in trouble if he doesn't. Good luck, Sariena Owned by Zeus(Pyr) & Pepsi(SheppardX) |
