[pyrnet] WELCOME KEITH

Welcome to the group Keith and family!  Like you, I did a lot of research before we bought Bear.  It was time well spent.  We had a group of dogs that Todd and I thought we wanted.  We then narrowed it down to the pyr and the Kavasz(couldn't afford this one).  These are the dogs for people who want large dogs (extra large), inside, couch potato type, or outside running and jumping and playing type.  They are great with the kids.  We have two girls 9 & 10 plus all the neighborhood kids hang out here.  My neighbor doesn't think twice about sitting Anna (19mos) in front of Bear (as long as we're in the room) and letting her pet him and him lick her!!!  He's great with all ages.
We've had Bear for 16 mos and he is 19 mos old, @ 93-98 lbs, and still growing.  We also just rescued a female for him to have for company when we run out to the store.  (He goes most every where we go.  Now I have two in tow most of the time.)  Her name is Sugar Bear (her other Mommy named her and we kept it) and she is @8 mos old and is 79.6 lbs.  They are wonderful together.  (Just in case you were wondering as most do ~ we have no plans on breeding.  No time, energy or experience for doing that.)
I'm sure that you will be very happy to have your Thanksgiving gift.  Remember to take the Christmas photos with the reindeer antlers or the Santa hat.  I have one of Bear that I took on his birthday (Oct 31) with him dressed as a Hillbilly!  It was so cute.  He even looks like he's "had a few!"  It's too cute.
I have a page with pictures of a lot of the pups from pyrnet on there.  I'll send the link in to you later so you can check them out.

Did you say where you were from and I missed that part?

Wishing you a pyr-fect day,
