That may be "her" way of cooling off.  My Aussie does the same thing (with 
dirty feet, of course) after a hard play outside.  I think it is pretty 
intelligent of them to be able to figure out that, aside from drinking, they 
can bring their temp down by submersing their pads in cool water.  Why they 
have to do it just after you have washed the floor is another matter...
