What is definitely known is how many predators are
pulled in whenever a LGD bitch
is in season and how an un-neutered male LGD responds during that
time. For me that is an excellent reason to spay and neuter your
LGDs.
I am totally with you on that. Not the point of my questions at all. I am
looking for your experience as one who work their dogs in a real working
situation and have many others around you doing the same for a long time. I
really do not want to pay much attention to some "stories" unless the source
is very credible. This is more of an academic discussion on my part i.e.
would a Pyr do something and hopefully nothing in my questions or the by
anyone who joins in the discussion would ever be construed to give license to
anyone to not neuter and spay. That would be very irresponsible of me and
the discussion. I also do not want to get someone else's take on what they
have read and been told by others on the Internet or otherwise. I have done
that already and had their impressions of what they have read used to refute
actual information from someone who I felt had good information. Only later
to realize the information that was interpreted from did not quite portray it
like it had been used originally. I do not want someone to think for me.
That's why I ask such questions of someone like you, who really lives in the
situation and I do not see you as having any agenda of your own.
So spay and neuter, please!!
