Jan, I'm interested in what you mean about Cushings disease and you comment
that it has "dealt to some of the tail covering".  Mother's Candy has
Cushings, and the end of her tail, for about 3 inches is becoming bare.  Is
this an effect of the Cushings, or are you referring to something else? 
When she first noticed this change, Mother took Candy to the vet, and he
recommended some cream to be put on the tail.  Well, it didn't do any good,
and this was about 9 months before the Cushings was actually diagonsed.
