I had a Pyr that had pretty bad HD. We had her re-exrayed when
she was 4 years old and she already had severe arthritis in the
hip. We used G/C and finally had to go to Rimadyl when she was 9.
We didn't think she would make it past 7 but she made it to 9
1/2! Each dog is different. If I had known about canine
chiropractic back then, I probably would have tried that as well.
It is another option for you.
