While watching a "Dog Show" on Animal Planet several months ago, (I forget
which show) when a German Shepherd was in the ring, The announcer asked about
their dispositions; His CO-announcer, said that "Their aggressiveness had
been bred out of them for the show ring!" He said it in a very routine,
offhand manner, and that was the end of it. This is the perception that
exists in the minds of these people regarding all show dogs! Right or wrong,
this their perception, hence their version of reality. How, if at all, can
this perception be changed?
