There's no problem with her putting him in a crate. Every dog should be
accustomed to it for many reasons. Please do not tell me that a Pyr is not
for me, I've had them for years and although they can be escape artists,
crate training is needed and is not wrong. I do not think she is wanting to
"reduce" him or have him passive, complacent or timid. She is trying to
help him through his problem.
