First...Diana said the initial comment in a joking ...even LOL ...manner.

But since it was taken seriously....   I'll just say I lived in Europe for 7 
years and now live in rural Georgia and own one of those "Sale Barns" 
referenced above.  Different cultures have different grooming habits.  Just 
as our less bathed Pyrs stink a little, women who choose not to shave their 
armpits and/or don't feel deodorant is necessary smell a little more 
"natural" than women who's culture and commercialism practically "requires" 
shaving and anti-perspirant.  It is not an Anglo-superior-smug-myth... it's a 
simple cultural difference.
