Still catching up on my mail :-/
I think what you are referring to is aflatoxin which is a 'poison' produced
by the growth of the fungus Aspergillus flavus on corn kernels. It also
grows on things like wheat and peanuts. Aflatoxins are also known to be
carcinogenic (ie cause cancer). There was a big recall of dog food in the
US in 1995 as a result of aflatoxin (vomitoxin) contamination. There is a
