[pyrnet] re Whiskers!!
Nothing like a crusty old cat is there Kim. Rufus was the cat from hell and
was difficult to pick up even when in full possession of all his faculties.
He bit people, he scratched people, he savaged a dog that knocked one of our
toddler's over many years ago. He actually jumped onto the dog's back and
rode it off the property. Pyrs fell back as he cut a swathe to their food
bowls . A glare from those mean yellow eyes meant a lot to them if they
wanted to stay intact. You can then imagine how much more mean he became
with the loss of hearing and sight. It was a common sight to see him
sitting in the middle of the floor with a Pyr on either side (not close)
waiting for his permission to move on out please Rufus. I got Rufus at 6
weeks from a pet shop, this snarling tiny bit of black fur and he stayed the
same, bigger but still snarling for 17 years!! Visitors used to ask us to
put him out please. had he been a dog then his life would have ended
earlier!!
