[pyrnet]corneal dystrophy
I really like kate's pyrs as pets page. i think about all those months i
tried to train my first pyr to not bark outside. what a lesson in futility!
for years after, i found coke cans with change in them in the back yard from
when i had shaken them and left them out there and he buried them. if i had
gotten czar from a reputable breeder i probably would have been given better
training information.
anyway, does anyone have any knowledge about corneal dystrophy? seamus has
developed a film right on his cornea that has been characterized as fatty
tissue growing on the eye. it doesn't seem to bother him but i'm wondering if
it is indicative of something else or typical in pyrs. i seem to remember
some eye problem in pyrs. they have ruled out diabetes, which is one cause of
this corneal growth.
thanks in advance,
susan
