Re: [pyrnet] We Got The Goodies
I got my goodies the other day and agree that there were too few to last
more than about 1 minute. On the other hand, I had a good time looking at
the Purina site and I'm sure my dogs would agree that any goodies is better
than no goodies!
On a separate note, Bonnie (pyr) has a couple of quirky behaviors which I
find very endearing, but funny. One of her odd behaviors is that when I
first let her in from outside she typically runs over to my big chair, digs
for a couple of seconds, and when I approach she stops, puts her butt up in
the air and buries her head, and does her best to get me to rub her back end
and belly (she's a belly rubbing fiend). I can't help but laugh when she
does this and she's usually very successful in getting her pets. She also
thinks she is a lap dog. Of course, she only gets her butt and back legs in
my lap. Thankfully, my favorite chair is very large and both she and I can
sit in the chair together. She spends most of her lounging time in close
proximity to me, usually with at least one paw on me. Do your Pyrs do this
butt up/head down for a pet? Are your Pyrs as insistent as Bonnie is about
being within touching range?
