[pyrnet] Behaviour issues
The behaviour of dogs towards each other and their young is different in my
opinion to that of a dog behaving aggressively to a child and I have no
problem with a bitch reprimanding her puppies or two males not liking each
other but when it comes to children and dogs behaving with aggression then
that is not acceptable. We will always try and make excuses that the dog
didn't growl, didn't lunge, didn't bite and there has to be a reason but
what if there is not (was not) a reason? What happens then? Do we ignore the
situation and hope it goes away and from what I have experienced and what
Barb has experienced those problems did not go away. Children should be
taught to respect dogs from an early age and my daughter did and the others'
I knew did. In the incidents I witnessed the dog(s) meant to do harm with
no provocation or bad behaviour, there was no warning just the attacks and
if you've experienced this then you'll know how terrifying it can be. There
is the puppy nipping but again different to out and out aggression.
