Hello everyone! It appears I will be getting a pyr mix puppy this coming weekend to foster for a few weeks. This is my first pyr puppy, usually most dogs in rescue are adults. Is there anything I ought to know about the breed when they are pups? Any do's and don'ts? Any and all advice would be appreciated? LOL! Oh, and it has been years (8 to be exact) since I have had to housebreak a puppy. Any advice there would also be more than appreciated.

 

I will be setting up his crate and getting toys and such this week for my new foster. He is four months old, weighs around thirty pounds, he looks and acts just like a pyr except for the fact that his muzzle is black. We are not sure what he is mixed with as he was drawn from a shelter in S.C. I will update you when he arrives!
