[PyrNet-L] Re: [Pyr-Net]:breeding question/showing
Whoa up Kelly, where did I write that you shouldn't buy from the best
breeder you can find?? But just like Barb said, good breeders sell on
spay/ neuter contracts too, or carefully contracted breeding documents.
What I am saying is that you should buy from the best, but not everyone
needs to breed everything they buy. Nor should you consider any person
breeding dogs to be a good breeder. Good people spend years involved in
a breed. Not " I bought a Pyr. and so I want to breed a Pyr." , which
seems to be the gist of these letters. In that case you have to think
out the bigger picture, which is rescue or death. No matter how you cut
it, animals are dying due to everyone and their Mother wanting to breed.
I have no qualms about people researching and finding good people who
attempt to breed good dogs and look out for what they have produced after
the fact. Cindy.
