It took place in CA, the lady (may live in NV) was on her way to the
airport
to meet her husband, a pilot.  She accidentally bumped the man's
vehicle, he got out of his vehicle and was very upset.
She rolled down the window to talk to him, he grabbed her
little dog and threw him into the coming traffic.  The woman
of course tried to save him, he was hit, she rushed him
to a vet and he could not be saved.  This happened
in Feb., the vehicle did have VA plates, the fund is
held at the Humane Soc. but it is from private donations.
The lady now has a puppy of the same breed.
