Good advice.  Our first Pyr/Border Collie fight happened when Maggie (the BC) 
had something that Kes (the Pyr) wanted.  (Please don't ask what it was -- we 
think, but cannot confirm that it was a dead rat -- oh joy!)  Anyway, since 
this initial confrontation, which saw Maggie taken to the emergency vet 
clinic, we have not been able to have these two bitches together.  Kes 
immediately goes at Maggie, whether there's anything around.  BTW -- Maggie 
is spayed, and Kes is being spayed this Friday!!!
