Re: [PyrNet-L] Pyrs and the Latest Ice
Robyn, had to chuckle at your ice stories, our geese were very similar,
after the initial surprised first slide, they seemed to get into the
slip-sliding around and acted like they enjoyed it. I think it was the
hard ice coating that made our dogs less likely to enjoy it, if they just
had real snow I think the experience would have been different for them.
They went dashing out so fast, and we are yelling
" slow down, watch the ice on the steps ". I tend to open the door and
let them feed out one at a time, hubby throws the door open. They just
about killed each other falling down the icy steps. We are still trying
to get the remains melted, and that's a long time on the ground for Tx.
I have a friend that is moving to northern Georgia and is trying to get
her house built. Things are not going well for her along those lines.
Just really strange weather. I feel for you Robyn, can't believe your
getting so blitzed over there! How is it for getting out to deal with
the horses? Cindy
