[PyrNet-L] Snow at last.- free roam of house

We finally got some snow. We got about 2 inches here on the coast of Maine... and my husband let Sam out to play- he looked at it, looked at my husband and did his thing, wanted back in immediately. For some reason he was not amused...... Later in the day after I came home from work, he went back out and played, rolled, did the snow-plow thing, romped etc... had a blast! Laid down in it and didn't want to come back in at all! Which would have been fine had the wind chill not dropped the temp to -32......... and I have not got a clue as to why they are so graceful on the ice, like poetry in motion.... when he is so clumsy going up the stairs in the house!

And as for the run of the house... Sam does have it, but chooses to lay on the living room floor until my husband comes home from work (about 2 AM) where he can see me and see the door my DH comes through, and then is in the bedroom on his blanket snoring like nothing I have ever heard before until I get up and go to work. He still gets into the trash can no matter how many bricks I pile on the top, and loves the kitty roca if not picked up as the kitty *does it*.... and has attacked the TP.... and this AM, he must have figured the cupboard under the sink needed cleaning out (my DH opened it so pipes wouldn't freeze but did anyway..) so he emptied it for me....... Barney, on the other hand, (dalli) goes out, does his thing, and it's back to bed for him, under the covers where it is warm!
