Come

Jan, You had to ask, didn't you?! <BG>

LOL! Well........(:( In my defense I did have it for about 10 yrs!!!!<BG>
It was already very dirty when we moved into the current house - but was
still in one piece until....

I had this bright idea to place it under a side table, on the floor, to give
the 'effect' of a Pyr laying on the floor next to the couch. Well, my
oldest girl decided that under that particular table was her refuge from the
pyr puppy! So, a few chips off the statue later, I moved it onto the
hearth of the fireplace (keep in mind it is raised off the floor!). REALLY
BAD IDEA! Now it was falling about 2 ft to the floor as the puppy chased
the old girl under the table and of course - crash! The first cracked leg
appeared - but from a distance you couldn't see it. So, stupid me left it
there! Crash! it went again! I glued it and put it back. YES, I SHOULD
have moved it at this point! BUT I really liked it there and it would only
happen about once a month<g>.....! Well, the final crash left it where NO
glue surgery would repair it! So, I had a 3 1/2 legged dirty Sandicast Pyr
STILL sitting on the hearth of the fireplace! So, obviously my mom was
horrified when she saw it one Christmas and got me a new one for my
birthday. It NOW sits (yes, I FINALLY learned<g>!) on my hutch, in the
dining room, way out of the dogs way, in the Styrofoam base & plastic
wrapping that it came in.......safe & sound from my stupidity, dirt, and the
dogs<BG>!

Lara

P.S. I didn't have the heart to throw it away - I still have it but it is
boxed out of sight for now<g>.
