Re: [PyrNet-L] Re: feeding raw eggs
As I always feel compelled to say when this topic comes up (maybe I should
save this post), my vet says that she has treated many dogs who have been
very sick from Salmonella poisoning. Besides, have the people who have
"never had a problem" never had their dogs throw up or have diarhea (I can't
spell that word!)? I know that all of mine have from time to time. How do
they know that they weren't sick from something that they ate that they
shouldn't have. My father always felt that nothing was spoiled or would make
him sick (having grown up in the depression & hoboed across the country
looking for work.) Yet, I remember an awful lot more instances of "stomach
virus" growing up than we have now that we know more about food safety. Did
he ever admit that he might have gotten sick from something he ate? Never!
Stephanie and Anais - who eats lots of things that she shouldn't and
sometimes pays the price:((
