install to check your hard drive.  Going to open it now so let you know how
I get on!! The reason here for being careful with the computer for year 2000
is the power surges once everyone has switched off all electrical appliances
and then everyone turns them on at the same time!! This test is not
applicable to the sort of people (like my husband!!) who only use their
computer to play games on. He has his, I have mine (selfish wee critter
again Carrie!!)
