I agree with Joe. We have our dogs out in sub-zero temps all winter. The
coldest I have ever heard a comment on was a gal in Fairbanks, Alaska. She
said when it got 50 below, she would bring the dogs in because their drool
would freeze to the floor...........
Our dogs have straw bedding and the kennel building--not heated. We break
the ice on the water buckets and all is well. Pyrs do very well in very
cold temps as long as they are acclimatized.
