[PyrNet-L] ear problems

hi,  my name is cindy too and i am a pyrnet lurker.  we had a golden
retriever with recurring ear problems who ended up being allergic to his
dog food... not just his dog food,  but any dog food with chicken or
beef products in it.  we switched to lamb and rice and the problem went
away like magic.  last year we rescued a pyr who came with awful nasty
ears.  he got put on lamb and rice and his problem cleared up until he
started getting table scraps and bil-jac frozen food as a treat.  his
ear problems returned and we have been reminded that he may also be
allergic to meat.  hope this helps.
