Thanks for all those who replyed to my message about barking pyrs. I took
the water bottle advice & so far it seems to be doing well. We actually
bought one of the large water guns. We've only been doing it for a couple of
days now but Maya has made a huge improvement. I'm sorry though that my
email asking for advice sparked such an arguement. It was not my intentions.
Anyway, update on Maya's obedience training..she has now received her canine
good citizenship & we're thinking of using her as a therapy dog. We did a
little show & tell at one of our elementary schools trying to teach children
the importance of animal care, grooming, etc..Maya done beautifully &
definitely loved all the children coming up to pet her & love on her. And
needless to say, for the children it was love at first sight. We've been
asked back to speak to some of the other classes.
