   My Jake and Spooky use to have "bone switches." 
We'd give them each a compressed raw-hide.  Every 10
minutes or so they'd switch.  I never could figure out
what signal they were using to tell the other it was
time to trade, but all the sudden they'd get up and
switch bones.
