I fully realize there are local dog parks. I just seriously doubt that
our state and national park services are advocating off lead romps, just
to amuse our canines when we can't provide ample room for them to run. I
will of course look into this further, since all my books and brochures,
including packing trips call for the dogs to be on lead. Perhaps I am
out of date on this, and the new trend is to let them run free in our
forests? I don't consider a local "dog park" the same as a state or
national park. Maybe I mis-understood? Cindy.
