Allergies to grains, especially corn, are not that uncommon. Many dogs can
not tolerate grains in their diet.  Lack of essential fatty acids (omega's 3
&6) in the diet can also cause skin problems as can a lack of sufficient
natural and added antioxidants (eg vitamins A, C, E, selenium and zinc).
So, sometimes it may be something in the diet that is causing a problem, or
sometimes something that is not in it.  Sometimes it can be both :-/.
