Yes it is the same as people use for allergies---  I have chemical and
pesticide poisoning and severe latex allergies so use benadryll on a daily
basis, and she and I share pills out of the same bottle.  Funny because as
much as she hates medications, when she sees me reaching in my purse for the
bottle, she comes up and sits right next to me, waiting.
