Possibly it's just an unspoken rule here in the South - but I have yet to see 
a woman NOT in a dress or at least skirt and blouse, and a man in coat and 
tie when showing a pyr.  Sure, there are the rare occasions, when one handler 
has to take 2 dogs into the ring at the same time, and they hand one of the 
dogs to an associate to handle.  That person wasn't expecting to go into the 
ring, so that's "excusible".
