[PyrNet-L] CHAT, CARE: Hot weather reminder 'Fire'

We just had a fire in our backyard creeping near a kennel where we are keeping a rescue right now!  The fire started in our neighbors yard - they are building a deck around their above ground pool and the neighbor had been treating the wood with something (not sure what yet) that is mopped onto the deck.  He left the mop on the ground, on grass, about an hour ago, and the mop ignited.  The grass fire went under the fence and luckily my daughter smelled smoke before the fire got more than 6-7 feet into our yard.  Their yard was not so lucky.  And today it's only in the 80's here (it's been around 100 the last couple days).

 

So, everyone, please be careful.  Not only watch your dogs close, but watch what you do and leave out in this heat.
