Kris, are you able to confine her to a smaller area, like a dinette ( or
something similar )? It is not easy, we had the four done all at the
same time, you would think that they all would have been calmer and
quieter together. Silver did have a reaction to the anesthesia, and so
she was rough for a couple of days, but the other three drove me nuts
trying to keep them down to a dull roar!
Also, for anyone else answering this, does the techniques for spaying
differ from area to area? I have heard several people mention staples,
and acting tender. Ours were surgical glued, and didn't seem to be
uncomfortable at all. Although they did have a post surgery pain
injection that we were told has made a big difference for the animals.
Do private Vets do the staples and clinics opt for the glue? Just
wondering? Cindy.
