I agree Jan, last summer into late fall when my foursome were " little
ones ? " we would put them in the pool to swim laps.  Always keeping an
eye on them so they didn't over-do or get tired, and built them up ( just
as we do ourselves ) as they grew bigger and stronger swimmers.  I think
it is a wonderful exercise for pups, if it is available.  No joint
stress!  And they really got to love it!  :-)  Cindy
